ITSB Bread

Bread for 3 loaves, 3 hours baking time

  • 14 dl wheat flour (siktet hvetemel)
  • 11 dl wholegrain flour (sammalt hvete)
  • 2 dl oats (havre)
  • Sunflower, pumpkin, linseeds, or other
  • 3 tsb salt
  • 7 tsp dried yeast (tørrgjær)
  • 18 dl water

Mix all ingredients and then add water. To get the right temperature on water, use 13 dl tapwater (cold) and add 5 dl boiling water.

Cover and let prove for one hour. Split dough into 3 cake tins. Let prove another 30 minutes.

Cook for 15 minutes on high/max temperature (gas oven in boats), then 45 minutes on medium. Remember to preheat the oven for 5 minutes.
