As In The Same Boat is collaborating with a wide range of actors, both other NGOs and commercial companies, we want to make a statement to clarify our independence.
Although collaborating with different actors, we will not support any other cause than the fight against marine litter, and we will make sure that no recourses or funding we’ve obtained in our projects will bi misused.
The war against marine litter is a common cause which demands collaboration between actors that some times are opponents, and we will make an effort in coordinating the available recourses towards our common goal.
Our unique strength and implementation capacity is based on the values and philosophy behind our name – we are all In The Same Boat, and we believe that this way of thinking may bring NGOs and companies together, to fight one of the most threatening existential challenges we are facing today – the marine litter.
