Success stories from our partners

Large orange-and-blue cargo ship Van Oord passing under a cable-stayed bridge with snow-capped mountains in the background.

Since 2021, Van Oord has been a valued partner in our mission to protect coastlines and marine ecosystems from plastic pollution.

Together, we’ve carried out OceanCARE expeditions in the UK and Netherlands, welcomed Van Oord employees onboard our vessels to take part in cleanups, and delivered in person workshops and educational events to inspire action beyond the shoreline.

This partnership shows how long-term collaboration between industry and non-profits can create meaningful, lasting impact for both people and the environment.

Since 2018 Helly Hansen Workwear has provided our “uniforms” we are known for, the green protective rainwear and wool basic layers.

We have provided useful feedback about our experiences to the Helly Hansen development team, and the quality and performance of the equipment is continuously improving. For us it’s a natural 1st. choice and we would not be able to operate without it.

In 2025, Schneider Electric joined our growing network of partners by taking part in a four-day expedition along the Norwegian coast.

A team of eight employees came onboard to experience life at sea, take part in beach cleanups, and contribute directly to our mission.

In just a few days, they helped remove 2.4 tonnes of marine litter from the coastline, demonstrating how hands-on collaboration can create immediate environmental impact while strengthening a shared commitment to protecting our oceans.
